When veteran art fair organizer/curator, LeeAnn Lester, first encountered my Echo Canyon Dreamscape at the Curator's Voice Art Projects gallery in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami, she insisted that my gallerist Milagros Bello bring it to her Art Basel Miami Art Week satellite art fair, Art Concept in Biscayne Bay. LeeAnn offered this complimentary invitation because, she told me, she believed, "This is where art is going."
Ms. Lester's continued support of my work as a featured invited artist at subsequent art fairs in Palm Beach have helped me develop my work, build my reputation among thousands of attendees, and provided moral support that I've greatly appreciated as an emerging artist.
Echo Canyon Dreamscape fuses computational photography and artificial intelligence; specifically, it consists of a 24-shot, 206+ megapixel HDR panorama I captured in Zion National Park in June 2014 that was ‘interpreted’ by a proprietary enhanced version of Google’s “DeepDream” AI software in February 2016.
